
Shenandoah Cabin Itinerary
FROM WASHINGTON D.C. AND BALTIMORE
From either city take 95 South to exit 130B towards Culpeper. Follow VA-3 west/and VA-20 south to Caroline Street in Orange. Turn right on Caroline Street and follow VA-20 south/RT 609 to U.S. 33. Follow U.S. 33 to Skyline Drive Swift Gap Run Entrance. Make a right on to Skyline Drive heading south towards mile marker 70 to Eaton Hollow Overlook.

THE CABIN
Argow Cabin is owned by the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club.
The hike-in was a little over a mile and is a rather steep ascent on the hike out.
Bring enough water for the first night, as the spring runs intermittently and can take time to fill a jug.
You will need to pay the entrance fee to enter Shenandoah National Park.
EXPLORATIONS
Orange, is a quaint town with a historic train depot and 8 wine vineyards.
Stanardsville is a historic and very old town worth the detour.
And Sperryville is a beautiful, quaint town with antiques, food, and is a nice place to stroll.
